Synopsis
This is a comprehensive course on Operations Management covering key topics on operations strategy, design, planning and control and operations improvement. It is concerned with creating products and services that gives the potential to improve revenues and, at the same time, enables goods and services to be produced more efficiently at lower costs. It is focused at the changes affecting the business world – changes in customer preference, changes in supply networks brought about by technologies and the way and how we work. It challenges managers to promote creativity which will allow organisations to respond rapidly to those changes.
