Synopsis
Organisation is about people and the success of an organisation is effective management of its people so that they work in unison toward achieving organisational or operational goals. In today’s context, most organization settings are less ideal, often confusing and in messy situation. This course is about managing people in organisation. It teaches new managers to be versatile and artistic in their roles through organisation reframing. It looks at how to organise and structure groups and teams to get results; how to tailor organisations to satisfy human needs and build interpersonal and group dynamics. The course also deals with how to cope with power and conflict, politics and coalitions and how to shape culture that gives meaning to work. In a nutshell, this course is a tool for finding new opportunities and options in confusing and troubling organisational situations, and it gives leaders an edge in decoding organisational complexity.
